From Milan take the SS 36 and SS 38 (Milano-Lecco-Sondrio-Tirano).

From Brescia cross Valle Camonica and the Aprica Pass.

From Switzerland::
- dal - from the Bernina Pass take the road for Poschiavo-Tirano
- from the Maloja Pass, take the SS 36 (Chiavenna- Morbegno) and then the SS 38 (Morbegno-Sondrio-Tirano)
- from the Splügen Pass, take the SS 36 (Chiavenna- Morbegno) and then the SS 38 (Morbegno-Sondrio-Tirano)
